Reconstruction and repair of a Govt. Primary School in Habsiguda, Hyd.
Need of the Project: The Govt. Primary school in Habsiguda was in a dilapidated condition.
Rodents in and around the school. Small children were petrified with their presence.
Flooring of the classrooms was completely spoiled by the rodents again.
The beautiful school ground was more of a dumping yard for the surrounding households.
What did the Sai Youth do?
When this project was identified, the first task on hand was to get the local support. A small cleaning activity was done in the first instance and the curious onlookers came and enquired to know more about the group and the intent. There was suspicion among some and then rest pledged their support. Local municipal authorities were approached to ensure that they were Ok with us taking up the activity. There was buy-in from the school authorities from day1.
Prayer to Swami was sent to take up this project.
